2026 Kitchen Trends and Design Styles

In 2026 kitchen trends, expect to see a prevalence of warm white kitchen cabinets, curved architecture, natural wood islands, arched doorways, marble countertops and backsplashes, mixed metal finishes, custom hood designs, and ceiling treatments such as wood beams, insets, coffers, panels, and bead board.

What kitchen styles are trending?  In addition to a revival of English cottage and French country style kitchens, we’re currently seeing plenty of modern spaces featuring natural wood cabinets.

With its warm color palette, natural stone elements and understated elegance, this kitchen design is a great example of current kitchen trends.

While open stacked wood shelving is still in style, kitchen designers are also favoring the simple, uncluttered look of one long shelf — often in marble.
