Beautiful Kitchen Design and Decor Ideas for 2025

The kitchen is more than just a place to cook, it’s where we start our days, connect with friends, and celebrate all the big and little moments.  With that in mind, and since I know many of you are planning a new kitchen or kitchen remodel, today I’m sharing a gathering of beautiful kitchen design ideas, with lighting inspiration, colors, decor, backsplashes, warm wood cabinets and islands, coastal kitchens, 2025 kitchen trends, modern farmhouse kitchens, small kitchen layout ideas, and much more.

2025 Kitchen Design Trends

In 2025 kitchen design trends, you can expect to see more warm wood cabinetry, marble backsplashes, mixed metal finishes, custom hood designs, and ceiling treatments such as wood beams, insets, coffers, panels, and bead board. 

What kitchen styles are trending?  In addition to a revival of French country and Mediterranean style kitchens, we’re currently seeing plenty of modern spaces featuring natural wood cabinets. 

With its warm color palette, natural stone elements and understated elegance, this Mediterranean style kitchen design is a great example of 2025 kitchen trends.

While open stacked wood shelving is still in style, kitchen designers are also favoring the simple, uncluttered look of one long shelf — often in marble.

Are modern farmhouse kitchens still in style?

While modern farmhouse kitchens are still in style, in 2025 the modern farmhouse aesthetic will reflect a more elevated look, influenced by European farmhouse, Mediterranean, and French country style design.

With a mix of white and warm wood cabinets and timeless features like marble countertops and backsplashes, mixed metal finishes, and vintage elements, modern farmhouse style continues to evolve with each passing year.

Whether you love an all-white kitchen, warm wood cabinets, a touch of color, a unique backsplash, open shelving, or gorgeous pendant lighting, these gorgeous kitchen ideas are filled with inspiration for a new build or kitchen remodel in 2025.

1. White and Wood Kitchens

2. Modern Coastal Kitchens

Chic brass lantern pendant lights and a mix of white oak and white kitchen cabinets add a chic modern coastal touch to this gorgeous kitchen design.

I couldn’t find many examples of true galley style kitchens; however, perhaps the following images will give you some ideas of what you can do with a small or narrow galley kitchen.
