When I was making decisions regarding the style, design, color scheme, tile, and metal finishes for our master bathroom remodel, I found it helpful to see images of completed spaces.
With that in mind, I’ve gathered dozens of beautiful bathroom ideas to share with you — all of which beautifully reflect the popular bathroom trends for 2026 and beyond — and I hope you find all sorts of helpful ideas and inspiration in this post.
2026 Bathroom Trends for Master and Small Bathrooms
This year, we’re seeing an interesting mix of new and returning bathroom trends.
In 2026 bathroom trends, interior designers and home owners are loving:
- warm wood cabinetry
- warm white walls and vanities
- fluted detailing on vanity cabinets,
- marble countertops and tile,
- inset linen cabinets in contrasting finishes,
- curved mirrors, faucets, and lighting, and
- mixed metal finishes.
In addition to elegant European style bathrooms, we’re seeing an abundance of spaces incorporating custom natural wood cabinetry with unique features like inset linen cabinets and wall moulding.
Beautiful faucets, mirrors, and hardware in gleaming finishes and streamlined silhouettes are the new jewelry of the bathroom.
Arched, oval, and curved mirrors are a wonderful way to add a contemporary touch to the bathroom.
As you’ll see in the designer bathrooms in this post, the sky’s the limit when it comes to creating your dream master bathroom or powder bath.
You can mix metals, finishes, colors, and styles to make your bathroom reflect the look and feeling you want to achieve.
Classic, Timeless Bathroom Ideas
Luxurious looks, high-end materials and finishes, and understated elegance never go out of style, and in 2026 both traditional and contemporary style bathrooms are incorporating timeless features.
No matter what design style you’ve embraced throughout the rest of your home, the bathroom is the perfect space to try a more classic, timeless look that will look fresh and relevant for years to come.
This stylish bathroom is a great example of current bathroom trends. Light and airy, incorporating fluted detailing on the vanity cabinet and luxurious finishes, this elegant bathroom is both timeless and on trend.
