Patio Inspiration with a Modern Coastal Vibe

Hi friends! I hope you’re having a great week!  Today’s patio inspiration was inspired by the patio refresh I’m planning for our covered patio area.  Since I like to update our patio often, I always try to keep everything affordable and easy to find (and return, if necessary).  For me, that often means shopping at Target!  I’ve discovered that by doing a search on Target’s website, I can usually find an identical or similar version of just about anything available on other sites–usually at a fraction of the cost!

Some things I’ve included in my patio inspiration design board which I think are nice to have in an outdoor space:

• plenty of seating with deep cushions for comfort
• textiles and textures to add interest
• overhead string lighting to create a warm and festive atmosphere
• pretty pillows
• a cozy throw
• a pretty lantern or two for evening ambiance
• a beautiful area rug
• a place to rest your feet
• a stool or side table to hold a cold drink

Just throw in some flowers and plants and a warm breeze, and you’re all set for summer outdoor living!  Enjoy! xo jane
