One of the biggest summer sales, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2025 ends Sunday, August 3, 2025. With just a few days left to shop, this is the perfect time to check out these must-shop deals before the sale closes.
While Nordstrom holds half-yearly sales every spring and fall, their Anniversary Sale is highly anticipated because brand new fall arrivals and the latest 2025 styles are marked down for a limited time only, reverting to their regular prices at the end of the sale.
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is typically when I try to fill in any missing core pieces from my wardrobe, stock up on beauty basics, and try out new jeans, boots, jackets, and bags for fall.
If you happen to be putting together a capsule wardrobe, this is also a great time to shop for high-quality core items, including designer pieces that rarely go on sale.

Top Picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2025
Below, you’ll find my favorites from this year’s sale. These are items I personally love — and many of them have been added to my cart. In addition, I’ve included some of the most popular sale items that are likely to sell out quickly.
My top clothing items to shop for during the sale include fall shoes and boots, jeans, cardigans, sleepwear, and handbags.
For our home, I shop for core basics like bedding, towels, essential oil diffusers, home decor, luggage, and kitchen essentials.
The Nordstrom sale is also when I stock up on the beauty items I use all the time, including makeup, skincare, lash serum, and beauty tools.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2025 Shopping Guide
Since this is such a big event, I’m sharing a few Nordstrom sale shopping tips as well as a look at what to shop for during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
1. Plan ahead and create a wish list
If you don’t have access to the Nordstrom presale, you can preview the NSale here and save your favorites by adding them to your Wish List.
Then, when the sale opens to your level, you can easily move the items you want to purchase from your wish list to your shopping cart.
2. Set a budget
With thousands of items on sale, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with all the options and end up over-spending. So I recommend setting a budget for the sale and sticking to it. (Reminder to self!)
3. Shop on the first day the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens to your level
By shopping during the presale, you unlock early access to the best selection.
Here are the access dates for all levels of the 2025 Nordstrom anniversary sale:
- July 8 – 11, 2025 – Icon level Nordstrom cardholders get first access to the presale, beginning at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time on July 8, 2025.
- July 9 – 11, 2025 — Presale opens to Ambassador level cardholders begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time on July 9, 2025.
- July 10 – 11, 2025 – Early Access for all Influencer level cardholders begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time on July 10, 2025.
- July 12, 2025 — The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens to everyone at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time on July 12, 2025.
- August 3, 2025 – Final day of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2025.
4. Become a cardmember for early access
If you’re interested in shopping during the presale, Nordstrom cardmembers gain early access to the Anniversary Sale, according to the dates shown above. For example, as an Influencer-level cardholder, I was able to shop the sale on July 10.
If you make a purchase on your new card on the day you’re approved, you’ll get $40 off your next purchase. And, as a cardholder, you also earn at least 2 points per dollar spent on your Nordstrom credit card.

5. Order multiple sizes
If you’re not sure which size will work best for you, I recommend ordering multiple sizes while they’re available and returning the items that don’t fit.
6. Check back for restocks
If an item you want to buy is sold out, check back later to see if it’s restocked. As people return items to Nordstrom they’ll become available again online and/or in your local store.
7. Consider paying for expedited shipping
If you want your items to be shipped right away so you have time to order a different size or color before the sale ends, you might opt to pay for 2-day shipping.
However, Nordstrom does offer free standard shipping, which typically takes 3 to 8 business days.

Two Business Days: $12
Next Business Day: $20
8. Return for free online or at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores
In addition to free standard shipping, Nordstrom offers free return shipping.
You can also return Nordstrom Anniversary Sale items to your local Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores.
9. Shop for gifts
With an amazing selection of items for men, children, teens, and the home, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is also a great time to shop for birthday gifts, wedding gifts, hostess gifts, Christmas gifts, and baby shower gifts.
10. No promo code is needed
The Nordstrom Anniversary sale doesn’t require a coupon code like other sales.
Rather, anniversary sale prices are highlighted in yellow on their website, showing both the discounted price as well as how much the item will cost after the sale.
What is the Nordy Club?
The Nordy Club is a Nordstrom rewards program which allows members to earn points on every purchase made in stores and online at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack.
It’s free to join, and members enjoy perks like free 2-day shipping on select items, access to alterations, first access to shop select brands and sales, and more.
