Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023 Shopping Guide

It’s that time! After several days of early access for cardmembers, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now open to everyone.

While Nordstrom holds half-yearly sales every spring and fall, their Anniversary Sale is highly anticipated because new arrivals and the latest fall 2023 styles are marked down for a limited time only, reverting to their regular prices at the end of the sale.

Since this is such a big event, today I thought I’d share a few of my favorite things to shop for during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale.

My top clothing items to shop for during the sale include fall shoes and boots, jeans, cardigans, sleepwear, handbags, and loungewear. 

Also, if you happen to be putting together a capsule wardrobe, this is a great time to shop for high-quality core items, including designer pieces that rarely go on sale.

For our home, I shop for basics like bedding, towels, essential oil diffusers, home decor, luggage, and kitchen essentials. 

The Nordstrom sale is also when I stock up on the beauty items I use all the time, including makeup, skincare, lash serum, and beauty tools.

Create a wish list

In the future, if you don’t have access to the Nordstrom presale, you can always preview the NSale here and save your favorites by adding them to your Wish List. Then, when the sale opens to everyone, you can easily move them from your wish list to your shopping cart.

The Nordstrom Anniversary sale doesn’t require a coupon code like other sales. Anniversary sale prices are highlighted in yellow on their website, showing both the discounted price as well as how much the item will cost after the sale.

Early access to the Anniversary Sale is a lovely perk

You can apply for a Nordstrom card here to gain early access to the Anniversary Sale. If you make any purchase on your new card the day you’re approved, you’ll get a $40 Bonus Note for future use.  And, as a cardholder, you also earn at least 2 points per dollar spent on your Nordstrom credit card.  

What is the Nordy Club?

The Nordy Club is a rewards program which allows members to earn points on every purchase made in stores and online at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack.  They also enjoy perks like free 2-day shipping, access to alterations, first access to shop select brands and sales, and more.

The dates for all levels of the 2023 Nordstrom anniversary sale are as follows:

July 11, 2023 – Icon level Nordstrom cardholders get first access to the presale
July 12, 2023 — Presale opens to Ambassador level cardholders
July 13, 2023 – Early Access for all Influencer level cardholders begins
July 17, 2023– The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens to everyone at 3 a.m. Eastern Time on July 17, 2023
August 6, 2023 – Last day of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023
