Now that February is almost here, my focus is shifting to one of my favorite holidays, Valentine’s Day. As the one day of the year set aside to celebrate love, Valentine’s Day is the perfect opportunity to bring joy to others by creating a special Valentine’s or Galentine’s Day celebration, complete with a beautifully-decorated table.
If you’re looking for Valentine’s Day table ideas for 2026, below you’ll find a collection of gorgeous and creative Valentine’s and Galentines Day tablescapes, centerpiece ideas, table settings, and more.
Whether you’re planning a romantic dinner for two, a family celebration, or hosting a Galentine’s Day party or brunch with friends, any of the beautiful table ideas in this post will help you create a memorable and special celebration of the day of love.

Even though some of these Valentine’s Day table setting ideas look fancy, you can still use them as inspiration for your own table, using whatever you happen to have available.
I love setting the table with things I already have on hand, because it encourages me to get creative and think outside the box.
Fresh or faux flowers, or even branches and greenery from the back yard, can make a lovely centerpiece.
A mix of candles and candlesticks in all shapes and sizes are always a great idea when decorating the table.
And, for Valentine’s Day, candy or chocolates can be used as table decor, as well! Placed on a marble serving board or pedestal, or sprinkled throughout your centerpiece or at each place setting, candy adds a colorful touch to your Valentine’s table.
If you’d like to know how to set a dinner table, here’s a helpful graphic showing where to place your utensils, glasses, plates, and napkin.
And, if you happen to have some fancy china, stemware, or silverware tucked away, this is the perfect time to dust it off and enjoy it.
If not, flea markets are a great source for pretty plates and tea cups. I love the look of mismatched china in a tablescape — especially for Valentine’s Day!
