I’ve found that neutral and natural decor works beautifully for both summer and fall, making it easier to slowly transition your home from one season to the next.

While summer home decor generally has a light, organic feeling, fall decor is more about warm colors, luxurious textures, and chunkier fabrics.

Bedrooms and living rooms can easily be updated for fall with a heavier throw blanket and a couple of textured pillows:
